Composite materials for pipeline rehabilitation have been developed to restore permanently the maximum allowable operating pressure (MAOP) of corroded or mechanically damaged pipelines. The composite repair can be performed without shutting down the pipeline operation. The composite materials has been designed for structural reinforcement of pipelines and piping systems with internal/external defects

Design of the composite wrap is based on either ISO/24817 or ASME PCC-2 code.
ISO/24817: Petroleum and natural gas industries - Composite repairs for pipework - Qualification and design, installation, testing and inspection.
ASME PCC-2: Non-metallic composite repair systems for pipelines & pipework: high risk application.

• Composite materials is a wet wrap that tightly fit the pipe (whatever pipe condition: Out of roundness, presence of welds, ...)
• Composite wrap forms a monolithic structure
• Composite materials wrap allows repair of tees and elbows
• Composite materials wrap provides also reinforcement in axial direction
• The exceptional stiffness and long term strength provides a high level of reinforcement with a minimum thickness(2-4 mm)
• Carbon fibre composites are resistant to creep
• Safe handling (No volatile organic compounds)
• The primer (epoxy resin) is a very good corrosion inhibitor
• Stock flexibility (a repair kit 36 in can be used on a 32 in pipe)
